By accessing or using MinjibirMFB's banking services, mobile application, or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Account Terms

2.1 Account Opening

To open an account, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Have a valid BVN or NIN
  • Complete the verification process

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, PIN, and any authentication methods. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity.

3. Services and Features

Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Bank account management
  • Money transfers and payments
  • Bill payments
  • Savings and investment products
  • POS terminal services (for business accounts)
  • Virtual account creation (for business accounts)

4. Fees and Charges

We reserve the right to charge fees for certain services. All fees will be disclosed to you before you complete a transaction. We may update our fee structure from time to time, and we will notify you of any changes in accordance with applicable regulations.

5. Transaction Limits

Transaction limits may apply to your account based on your verification level and account type. These limits are set for security purposes and may be adjusted at our discretion or as required by regulations.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any illegal or fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use our services to launder money or finance terrorism
  • Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on our platform are owned by MinjibirMFB or our licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinjibirMFB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law or regulatory authorities. You may close your account at any time by contacting customer support.

10. Regulatory Compliance

As a licensed microfinance bank, we are subject to regulations from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other regulatory bodies. We may be required to report certain transactions or account activities to regulatory authorities as required by law.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration in accordance with Nigerian law. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Central Bank of Nigeria or other relevant regulatory authorities.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify you of material changes through email, SMS, or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
